In the 8 week course you will be gently introduced to mindfulness practices, activities and ideas in a supportive and friendly group. You will learn skills to help you relax, be present and bring a kind awareness to your experience even if it includes difficulty. This gives you the space and persepctive to respond to your experience in ways that are helpful and support your wellbeing. Each session includes guided meditation, in-depth teaching on the practices and techniques, discussion, opportunities for questions, and help with your home practice.
Many people living in Leeds deal with complex situations which affect their mental health and wellbeing. On this course we welcome people with mental health difficutlies and situations that make make managing their mental health more difficult.
