Supporting professionals, mindfulness teachers and trainees

We enjoy the strong community that has built around the mindfulness co-op. We offer continuing practice sessions for everyone and continuing professional development and supervision opportunities for mindfulness teachers.

We see many people who do a course with us return for further practice, volunteer with us or decide to train to teach courses or to become Breathworks mindfulness champions in their communities. It is particularly important to us that we support people from the communities we serve to become Breathworks Mindfulness champions or Breathworks teachers.

Support for people who want to lead mindfulness activities

We understand that some people want to lead simple mindfulness activities with friends, colleagues or service users. We can offer you support and develop your skills and confidence. Prior to this training you will need to have completed an 8 week mindfulness course and have a regular personal mindfulness practice.

Continuing practice

We facilitate a weekly online guided meditation followed by a check in about our practice and lives. These drop-in sessions on Saturday mornings are suitable for anyone who has completed an 8 week mindfulness course or who has equivalent experience, including teachers and trainees.

These sessions have developed a very strong sense of community and the chance to simply practise together, to listen and to be heard is really valued by participants. Sessions are pay as you feel.

Connection and development for mindfulness teachers

We facilitate day retreats for Breathworks trained teachers in Yorkshire to practise and connect with each other.

As a team we regularly run continuing professional development and peer-supervision and occasionally open these up to other mindfulness teachers.

Please get in touch if you would like to hear about future events.
