Education, schools and young people
In the busy atmosphere of our educational environments, mindfulness offers benefits to both young people and those who care for them. We have experience of delivering wellbeing days and 8 -10 week mindfulness courses for both young people and the staff who work with them. We draw on our experience as Breathworks teachers and our training with the Mindfulness in Schools Project.
We have worked with local schools including Ilkley Grammar School, Broadbeck Learning Centre, Roundhay School and Carlton Primary school.
We also work in further and higher education with Shipley college, Leeds Trinity University and Edinburgh University and have delivered sessions in youth work settings.
As experienced teachers some of our trainers have lived experience of the benefits of mindfulness for adults working in schools and universities.
